The goal of READY RGV! is to provide information to residents of the Rio Grande Valley on how they can learn, prepare, and engage when it comes to hazards, whether they are natural, technological, or man-made.

May is Stop the Bleed Month

Stop the Bleed is a national awareness campaign and call-to-action. Stop the Bleed is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives. The State of Texas recognizes the importance of the Stop the Bleed initiative. Governor Greg Abbot will issue a proclamation declaring May 20, 2021 as Stop the Bleed Day in Texas.
